Instances of The Primitive; Moons, Monoliths, Reflected Moonbeams & Shields" explores the collective deep subconscious through non-representational, abstract work. For me, abstract art transcends figurative limitations, focusing on space, color, and light to convey something universal. The paintings strike a balance between chaos and order, akin to the fractal-like patterns in Jackson Pollock’s drip paintings and impressionist techniques. The goal is to create unity, both in the work and within the viewer. Art reflects the inherent unity of nature, offering meaning in both randomness and structure. The complexity arises from individual elements naturally forming a cohesive whole.
